It wasn’t long ago that I got honest with myself and admitted something absolutely terrifying: I think I lost my joy. My artist lifestyle was not the one I dreamt of as an aspiring performer. Going to auditions felt like another mundane task, and even when I was cast, being on stage didn’t return me to the genuine joy I once felt. 

I desperately needed to reconnect to my joy.

So I turned off my auto-pilot approach to life and started examining my moment-to-moment experiences, feelings, and reactions. I asked questions, I found intentions, and in time, I started to see and feel joy in my life again.
